For years, I have found inspiration and comfort in the presence of the beech trees at Minuteman National Historical Park. These giants have witnessed so much - historical events, meetings and musings, damage and healing - holding countless stories in their limbs and bark. I return again and again to photograph and draw them, and to sit peacefully in their shade.
